DYMRadio-Guest John P. McTernan

Is America on a collision course with God?

There is a direct correlation between the alarming number of massive disasters striking America and her leaders pressuring Israel to surrender her land for "peace."

Costing hundreds of lives and causing hundreds of billions of dollars' damage, dozens of disasters including devastating earthquakes, raging fires, hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, and violent tornadoes have hit America–and always within twenty–four hours of putting pressure on Israel.

What can you do as an individual––and what can America do––to change the direction of our country in relation to Israel and prevent the increasing number of calamities?

God’s everlasting promise to bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel is still in effect today.  Throughout its history, America has been in a unique position to bless the Jewish people, and has experienced many blessings as a result.  In more recent years, however, America has failed to consistently stand by Israel and suffered dramatic disasters.

In this interesting and thorough book, McTernan traces the history of the Jewish people in America and how America’s spectacular rise to power was tied to blessing the Jews.  He examines America’s integral role in fulfilling God’s plan for the rebirth of the Jewish nation, and details the times when our nation defaulted on this call.  Through a step–by–step analysis of political events, McTernan gives conclusive proof that God’s judgment on those who curse Israel is still active.  In every case where America has failed Israel, it has faced dramatic consequences within 24 hours.

John P. McTernan is a lifetime student of American history, and has studied biblical prophecy since becoming a Christian in the early 1970s. He authored the acclaimed God's Final Warning to America and co–authored the best seller Israel: The Blessing or the Curse. Through numerous appearances on television, radio, and in seminars, McTernan regularly defends Israel in light of biblical prophecy.

In 1974, John became involved with the Pro–Life Movement and is a Pro–Life leader in central Pennsylvania. He co–founded International Cops for Christ, where he serves as an ordained chaplain. He served as a US Treasury agent for twenty–six years before retiring in 1998. He holds a B.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is married and has four children.

DYMTV-Guest Sally Lloyd-Jones

I’m a Brit who came to the States in 1989. Just for a year or two.

I’m still here.

This tells you how much I know.

But I do know that I was born in Kampala, Uganda and raised in East, and West Africa and at a boarding school in the New Forest, (which I also know is nothing of the sort—it’s very old. It had Charles I in it. How new can it be?).

The first book I ever read all the way through was ‘The Complete Nonsense’ by Edward Lear.

Things have not been the same since.

Also, I get to have the best job in the world—writing stories. And I get to work for the best bosses in the world—children. I am very grateful.

Here is a picture of me being a baby. (I don’t remember a great deal about being a baby but by all accounts I was quite good at it and have the photos to prove it.)

Things I love: running (sometimes marathons) and cycling, taking photos, going on adventures, watching movies, exploring my city by bike.

I also love great big ginormous cups of strong Tea and porridge.

Not together in the same cup.

Obviously.

I live in Manhattan and enjoy dividing my time between the front half of my apartment and the back. (My British accent makes it sound like I know what I’m talking about, so I’ve kept it.)

Sally is a New York Times bestselling children’s book writer. Her books include the critically acclaimed, ‘How To Be A Baby… By Me, the Big Sister’, Gold Book Award winning, ‘The Jesus Storybook Bible’ and the Christian Book of the Year ‘Thoughts To Make Your Heart Sing’.

Sally works with various publishers – Walker Books, Schwartz & Wade/Random House, HarperCollins, Zondervan, David Fickling Books.
