DYMRadio-Guests Charity Bradshaw

It has been said that Charity is the “straight-talk express” who shares “wisdom beyond her years”. What you will love most about her is her transparency. Charity shares with candor and clarity her personal failures as well as successes. Her laughable blunders will put you at ease, cause you to think and know that she stands shoulder to shoulder with you on your journey. She helps you sweep aside all of your possible excuses (that you are secretly tired of using anyway) and helps you see and believe that anyone, including you, is capable of doing great things no matter where you start.

Charity’s passion is to help you discover and live into your unique purpose, showing you how to make the most of what you have. Charity will help you see beyond your present circumstances and expand your vision to include all you feel called to do. She compels you to dig deep and discover your individual imprint and live closely connected to your value order. She guides you through the process of intentionally investing and withholding your personal resources of time, talent and treasure to live life with less stress, less pressure, less shame and the burden of feeling like somehow you just aren’t measuring up.

Charity writes and speaks to help you define and live by your value order, remove any self-imposed limitations that suppress your potential, and manage your resources to fuel your dreams.  www.charitybradshaw.com

MWTR-Guest Chris Surratt

Chris is a pastor, speaker, author and ministry consultant with The Unstuck Group. Most recently, he was the Pastor Of Ministries at Cross Point Church in Nashville, Tennessee, where he oversaw and helped guide small groups and global and local good across five campuses.

Before coming to Cross Point in 2009, Chris was on staff at Seacoast Church in Charleston, South Carolina, for fifteen years, serving as a worship arts pastor, campus pastor and on the directional leadership team. Both Cross Point and Seacoast have been recognized as two of the fastest growing churches in the United States. Chris is passionate about helping people find their next steps toward God within the context of community.

His first book, Small Groups For The Rest Of Us: How to Design Your Small Groups System to Reach the Fringes, will be released by Thomas Nelson on September 29, 2015.

Most churches in America struggle to have a significant percentage of their adult attendance in small groups. According to recent research done by Lifeway Research, only “33 percent of churchgoers attend classes or groups for adults (such as Sunday school, Bible study, small groups, or Adult Bible Fellowships) four or more times in a typical month. Fourteen percent attend two or three times a month.”

Life transformation happens best within the context of community, so if a church is going to be intentional about discipleship they have to develop on-ramps to small groups that reach people on the fringes and beyond. If we continue to offer small groups to the normal church attenders, a majority of the people who show up to church are never reached.

Pastors, church staff and small group leaders are trying to figure out how to make small groups work in their church and they don’t know how. Small Groups For The Rest Of Us gives them practical, proven strategies on moving people from the fringes into biblically based communities.

MWTR-Guest Darrell McManus

With a ministry spanning over forty years Darrell is a prolific bible teacher with a powerful healing anointing. He has seen many saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, delivered, along with creative miracles and the dead being raised. He has a rich ministry heritage, whose deep roots of revival date back four generations to the turn of the nineteenth century in the United States of America. His early ancestors moved in mighty miracles of healing, and were early pioneers of the move of God in this nation. Darrell grew up in revival, seeing teeth filled miraculously, and supernatural weight loss, along with many other miracles, salvations and Holy Spirit infillings. As a result, He began to shut himself in with the Lord at an early age.

Serving in many aspects of ministry Darrell was led into obscurity and hid out with the Lord for fourteen years much like the Apostle Paul. One of the things the Lord asked him to do was to listen to the word of God through an mp3 player many hours a day and throughout the night for a number of years. In a time of intense prayer and fasting God appeared to him and imparted revelation about His Throne. Before writing his latest book, “What You Didn’t Know About God’s Throne” the Holy Spirit led Darrell into an intense time of prayer and fasting; he began praying in the Spirit at least six hours a day, but on average eight or more hours a day. This extended period of praying in the Spirit caused mighty revivals to begin to break out.

Darrell is founder of Darrell McManus Ministries in the United States and for the last eight years has overseen 684 churches and built and established a large orphanage in India. He has also ministered in South Africa, Honduras, and China, and recently The Lord has given him oversight of a ministry and orphanage in the Philippines. He’s had the joy of being a pastor for more than twenty six years. Darrell is now traveling full time and is in demand as a conference speaker and has appeared on numerous television and radio programs. He conducts School of Ministry classes in various venues, where many are trained to flow in God’s supernatural power. Darrell’s passion is to see believers discover and operate in their God given assignments. God gave Darrell a mandate to help bring an Awakening to this nation and the world.

He and his wife Cindy live in Gause, TX. They have two sons, two daughters, five grandsons and one granddaughter.

DYMRadio-Guest Loree Lough

Once upon a time, best-selling author Loree Lough literally sang for her supper, performing before packed audiences throughout the Midwest. Now and then, she blows the dust from her 6-string to croon a tune or two for her grandkids or to sing at weddings or funerals, but she mostly just writes. Over the years, her stories have earned hundreds of industry and Readers’ Choice awards and 4- and 5-star reviews.

Loree has nearly five million copies of her books in circulation, and in March 2014, she added her hundredth published book to the shelves. She has written fiction and nonfiction for kids and adults (2,500-plus articles and 68 short stories), and four of her novels have been optioned for movies. .

Loree loves sharing learned-the-hard-way lessons about the craft and the industry, and her comedic approach to teaching makes her a favorite (and frequent) guest of writers’ organizations, book clubs, private and government institutions, and college and high school writing programs in the U.S. and abroad..

A writer who believes in “giving back,” Loree dedicates a portion of her income to Soldiers’ Angels, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, and several other worthwhile organizations. She splits her time between a tiny home in the Baltimore suburbs and an even tinier cabin in the Allegheny Mountains, where she continues to perfect her Critter Tracks Identification skills. She shares her life with her real-life hero, Larry, who rarely complains, even when she adds yet another item to her vast collection of “wolf stuff.”

DYMRadio-Guest Joel Manby & Bill Salus

Joel Manby is the new CEO of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment seaworldentertainment.com and former President and Chief Executive Officer of Herschend Family Entertainment,[1] the largest family-owned theme park corporation in the United States. HFE creates, develops and operates entertainment, tourism and hospitality properties spanning 26 locations in ten states, including Stone Mountain Park, Dollywood and Silver Dollar City.[2] He and his company were featured in the sixth episode of the first season of CBS's Undercover Boss. Manby also wrote Love Works about HFE's unique business culture, with all proceeds going toward the Share It Forward Foundation, the company's charitable organization which aids employees in need. SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment has named Joel Manby as its new president and CEO, effective April 7.

Bill Salus is the author of "Nuclear Showdown in Iran, Revealing the Ancient Prophecy of Elam," "Psalm 83: The Missing Prophecy Revealed, How Israel Becomes the Next Mideast Superpower," "Revelation Road, Hope Beyond the Horizon," and "Isralestine, The Ancient Blueprints of the Future Middle East." Bill is an expert at explaining the prophetic relevance of current Middle East and world events. His books have been featured on TBN, Daystar TV, CBN, and many other mainstream Christian TV shows and networks. Bill's freelance articles have been featured on World Net Daily, The Christian Post, popular magazines, and extensively over the World Wide Web. Readers appreciate his unique insights, and sensible, rather than sensational approach to understanding the Bible. He allows prophecy to speak for itself, rather than modernizing it into newspaper exegesis.

In addition to being an author and a lecturer, Bill is also the radio host of the popular Prophecy Update Radio Program featured at KFHM 88.7 FM. Bill interviews the highly respected prophecy experts and discusses with them today's most important end time's topics. In addition to hosting his radio program Bill is frequently interviewed on other radio programs, and has appeared on television shows like Christ in Prophecy, hosted by Dr. David Reagan founder of Lamb and Lion Ministries, and Jewish Voice, hosted by Jonathan Bernis.

Shortly after becoming a Christian in 1992, writing became a daily discipline for Bill. He began with devotional pieces, but soon realized that he was prophetically inclined. After the events of September 11, 2001, along with the encouragement of Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum the founder of Ariel Ministries, Bill embarked upon a tireless path of discerning prophecies that apply today. It has become Bill's personal challenge to demonstrate the love of God through prophecy to each reader. As he composes one page upon another, it becomes clear to the spectator that prophecy is a spectacular gift from a God who cares for the entirety of humanity.

The discovery of prophecy as a gift rather than a threat is what most characterizes Bill's work. People all over the world are learning through his steadfast efforts, that prophecy is not just for the scholarly, but also for every common man, woman, and child. Whether writing, teaching, doing interviews, or speaking in front of large and diverse audiences, Bill guarantees to impart understandable information

DYMRadio-Guest Bruce Van Natta

Bruce Van Natta is the founder and president of Sweet Bread Ministries. He is a common, everyday person that serves the Living God who is anything but ordinary. His journey from prodigal son to full time ministry stretched out over three decades berfore culminating in a display of God’s power and grace. Starting at an early age in Bruce’s life the Lord proved Himself faithful repeatedly, despite tragedies and countless bad choices and decisions made by Bruce. After high school the Lord called Bruce into ministry, but instead of being obedient he ran away and chose his own path which led to more problems and addictions. As the years passed the Lord kept calling and knocking at the door of Bruce’s heart. Slowly things began to change as the Holy Spirit continued the sanctification process in Bruce’s life. Eventually he was brought to the startling revelation that God’s grace and mercy are not reserved only for those who have made all the right choices, can recite 100 Bible verses, or stand behind a pulpit—-God’s love is for everyday people, everyday! In 2006 Bruce was crushed underneath a semi-truck and was at the verge of life and death when he had an “out of body” experience. During this near death experience he got to see the two angels that the Lord had sent to save his life. Bruce is the only person Doctors can find who has ever lived from some of the injuries he had. (If you wish to hear more about this go to the “Media Center” and view or listen to Bruce’s 30 minute testimony.) Bruce wrote the book “Saved By Angels” which is available at most book stores and on the net. The story has garnered international attention recently so Bruce has been on; Sid Roth’s “It’s Supernatural” TV and radio shows, the Trinity Broadcasting Network, and 5 episodes of the “It’s a New Day” TV show. He has also been on “100 Huntley Street” and the “Nite Lite” TV shows as well as several radio shows and his story has aired  on the “700 Club” several times. In Decmber 2009 “Guideposts” magazine did a feature article on him for their Christmas issue and “Charisma Magazine” told his story in July 2010. Since recovering from this accident he and his family have gone into full-time ministry sharing their gripping testimony wherever the Lord leads. They have felt led to not only minister to the body of Christ but also to those in need, resulting in building an orphanage in Honduras and a church in India with home equity as well as doing prison and jail ministry. He and his wife Lori and their four children-Lauren, Caleb, Jacob, and Emily live in Wisconsin.

DYMTV-Guest John Schlitt

John Schlitt officially joined Petra in 1986, bringing with him his amazing vocal range and abilities that made him a legend with Head East. Except this time, his mind was no longer blown on drugs and alcohol – he was clean, focused, and armed with a powerful message: God made us to be winners - Jesus Christ is alive and through Him we are to be victorious in His perfect plan for us.

And that’s how it’s been with John ever since. Twenty years later and four Grammy awards on his shelf, sixteen Petra albums, one II Guys from Petra album, and four solo albums recorded - millions of which have sold all over the world - John is a man who lives for Jesus and makes no bones about his faith.

"The only thing I can do is be the best Christian artist I can be, to be the boldest Christian artist I can be,” he says. "I will always be able to look anyone in the face who wants to sit and say 'So you're a Christian?' and I'll say 'You darn right I am; just listen to my music, listen to what I have to say, listen to the interviews.' There's no doubt about where I stand."

While John is arguably one of the most powerful vocalists around, his mightiest cry is the cry of his heart. Whether onstage or up close and personal, John’s voice is one of a truly changed soul. And his music is and always will be a reflection of God’s love and redeeming power.

DYMRadio-Guest John David Ware

John David Ware

is the founder and director of 168 Film. Originally from Columbus Ohio, John went to film school at Miami University, Oxford, OH) and graduated with honors. In 1998, he co-founded SLATE Entertainment Fellowship at Bel Air Presbyterian Church, where 168 was born.  John is a conference speaker and media and film festival consultant. 168 has helped propel the lives and careers of thousands of artists all over the world by teaching them to focus on excellence of craft and on God's Word.   John has written feature-length spec screenplays and produced short films. He lives in Burbank, CA.

What is 168 Film?

Founded in 2003, the 168 Film Project is an incubator for writers and filmmakers to explore scripture and to practice their craft. The 168 Film Project challenge to filmmakers worldwide is to draw a random scripture and in just 168 hours (7 days) shoot and edit a short film. In the Write of Passage competition, writers craft a 12-page script in 168 hours. We reduce barriers to production and create opportunities for pros and newcomers to just do it. Participants from diverse backgrounds and faiths forge dynamic, creative communities.  All Filmmakers are responsible for their own budget, cast and crew.

What started as a ministry to local Southern California filmmakers has expanded to a worldwide movement. Many different countries compete in this international contest, some winning top honors.  We encourage fair treatment of subjects with emphasis on story and subtlety.  But most importantly, filmmakers are encouraged to honestly portray the tale that God inspires through the foundational scripture.  “168” films uplift and inform the human condition, showing real consequences for actions and reflecting traditional, conservative Biblical values.  Content rules do not require overtly Christian characters, just real ones. We do not permit swearing or use of the word “God” or “Jesus” as an expletive.  There is no gratuitous sex, language, violence or drug use.

DYMRadio-Guest John P. McTernan

Is America on a collision course with God?

There is a direct correlation between the alarming number of massive disasters striking America and her leaders pressuring Israel to surrender her land for "peace."

Costing hundreds of lives and causing hundreds of billions of dollars' damage, dozens of disasters including devastating earthquakes, raging fires, hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, and violent tornadoes have hit America–and always within twenty–four hours of putting pressure on Israel.

What can you do as an individual––and what can America do––to change the direction of our country in relation to Israel and prevent the increasing number of calamities?

God’s everlasting promise to bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel is still in effect today.  Throughout its history, America has been in a unique position to bless the Jewish people, and has experienced many blessings as a result.  In more recent years, however, America has failed to consistently stand by Israel and suffered dramatic disasters.

In this interesting and thorough book, McTernan traces the history of the Jewish people in America and how America’s spectacular rise to power was tied to blessing the Jews.  He examines America’s integral role in fulfilling God’s plan for the rebirth of the Jewish nation, and details the times when our nation defaulted on this call.  Through a step–by–step analysis of political events, McTernan gives conclusive proof that God’s judgment on those who curse Israel is still active.  In every case where America has failed Israel, it has faced dramatic consequences within 24 hours.

John P. McTernan is a lifetime student of American history, and has studied biblical prophecy since becoming a Christian in the early 1970s. He authored the acclaimed God's Final Warning to America and co–authored the best seller Israel: The Blessing or the Curse. Through numerous appearances on television, radio, and in seminars, McTernan regularly defends Israel in light of biblical prophecy.

In 1974, John became involved with the Pro–Life Movement and is a Pro–Life leader in central Pennsylvania. He co–founded International Cops for Christ, where he serves as an ordained chaplain. He served as a US Treasury agent for twenty–six years before retiring in 1998. He holds a B.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is married and has four children.

DYMTV-Guest Sally Lloyd-Jones

I’m a Brit who came to the States in 1989. Just for a year or two.

I’m still here.

This tells you how much I know.

But I do know that I was born in Kampala, Uganda and raised in East, and West Africa and at a boarding school in the New Forest, (which I also know is nothing of the sort—it’s very old. It had Charles I in it. How new can it be?).

The first book I ever read all the way through was ‘The Complete Nonsense’ by Edward Lear.

Things have not been the same since.

Also, I get to have the best job in the world—writing stories. And I get to work for the best bosses in the world—children. I am very grateful.

Here is a picture of me being a baby. (I don’t remember a great deal about being a baby but by all accounts I was quite good at it and have the photos to prove it.)

Things I love: running (sometimes marathons) and cycling, taking photos, going on adventures, watching movies, exploring my city by bike.

I also love great big ginormous cups of strong Tea and porridge.

Not together in the same cup.

Obviously.

I live in Manhattan and enjoy dividing my time between the front half of my apartment and the back. (My British accent makes it sound like I know what I’m talking about, so I’ve kept it.)

Sally is a New York Times bestselling children’s book writer. Her books include the critically acclaimed, ‘How To Be A Baby… By Me, the Big Sister’, Gold Book Award winning, ‘The Jesus Storybook Bible’ and the Christian Book of the Year ‘Thoughts To Make Your Heart Sing’.

Sally works with various publishers – Walker Books, Schwartz & Wade/Random House, HarperCollins, Zondervan, David Fickling Books.

MWTR-Guest David Teems

David Teems is the author of TYNDALE: The Man Who Gave God An English Voice [Thomas Nelson, 2012]. His other books include MAJESTIE: The King Behind the King James Bible [Thomas Nelson, 2011], DISCOVERING YOUR SPIRITUAL CENTER: The Power of Psalm 119 [Leafwood Publishers, 2011], AND THEREBY HANGS A TALE: What I Really Know About the Devoted Life I Learned From My Dogs [Harvest House, 2010], and TO LOVE IS CHRIST: 365 Devotions [Thomas Nelson, 2005].

There are two sides to David Teems (more if you look close enough). Having made his living for years playing music, he began the slow migration to books. Published in 2005, music was shuttled off to the margins. In 2012, he was given old Martin guitar, and with it the joy of music again. With the five published books he’s written, he intends to record more music as well. Look for ALL THAT MATTERS, a new recording, by Fall ’15. His heart is literary. There is a lyric beneath all the noise.

Between imagination and faith there exists a kind of twilight. That simply means in the divide between them, eyes are irrelevant. Sight comes by another method, by a deeper, more reliable sense. “We walk in faith and see not” (2 Corinthians 5:7 Tyndale New Testament).—TYNDALE: The Man Who Gave God An English Voice [p. 46]

David grew up in Atlanta, GA and graduated with a BA in Psychology from Georgia State University. After one semester of graduate school (educational psychology}, he started playing music professionally. In 1981, David began writing and performing Christian music. In 1982 he fell in love with a girl from West Virginia and married her two years later. He and Benita just celebrated 30 years of marriage. They have two sons, Adam and Shad. Adam married Katie Rogers in 2001 (the same year David’s father died). Adam and Katie have three children, Julian, Evie, and Audrey Gray. David and Benita live near their sons in Franklin, TN.

Mind of Christ Christian Center is a Ministry founded in California in 2010 and aims to fulfill the Great Commission contained in Matthew 28:18-20 by taking the principles and promises of the Word of God to the world via teaching, movies, and the traditional and New Media in order win the hearts of those ordained to be saved by  God through His Son Jesus. After winning souls for God we help believers move from children of God to sons of God who understand and apply the principles and believe the promises of the bible until they have the Mind of Christ (Philippians 2:5) such that it becomes the paradigm through which we all see the world and live our lives.

Reno Omokri, is the founder of the Mind of Christ Christian Center. He is the author of Shunpiking: No Shortcuts to God and Why Jesus Wept.

He is also the host of the Christian teaching television broadcast ‘Transformation with Reno Omokri.’

In Reno’s most recent book, Why Jesus Wept, Joe Trippi wrote of him thus, “In the ten years I have known Reno Omokri he has always reminded me most of the story of Daniel in the bible. Reno’s ability to straddle the worlds of faith and politics without compromising his values has always inspired me and this book will inspire all who read it.”

Writing in the same book, Michael Moszinky, CEO and Founder of LONDON, The Drum Awards UK Advertising Agency of the Year 2014, said, “Reno is one of the most thoughtful, intelligent and well-meaning people I have met.
